30/09/08 : A Japanese Sparrowhawk was seen circling above the Queen Sirikit Exhibition Centre, Bangkok on the 29th September. - Nick Upton.

26/09/08 : A male Yellow-rumped Flycatcher, an Eastern Crowned Warbler, an Arctic Warblers, a Red-rumped Swallow, 2 Brown Shrikes, 5 Asian Brown Flycatchers, a single Taiga Flycatcher and a Siberian Blue Robin were seen at Suan Rot Fai on 25th September. - Dave Gandy.

24/09/08 : An interesting selection of migrants was seen at Puttamonton Park on the morning of 24th September:

1 Ferruginous Flycatcher
1 female Yellow-rumped Flycatcher
1 female Chinese Blue Flycatcher
1 male Hainan Blue Flycatcher
10 Asian Brown Flycatchers
1 Taiga Flycatcher
6 Asian Paradise Flycatchers
1 female Siberian Blue Robin
1 Crow-billed Drongo
4 Brown Shrikes
1 Forest Wagtail
1 Arctic Warbler
5 Pale-legged Leaf Warblers
11 Eastern Crowned Warblers
2 Plain-tailed Warblers

Two groups of Small Minivets and 3 Lineated Barbets were also seen. - Nick Upton.

A female Siberian Blue Robin was seen at Suan Rot Fai on the morning of 24th along with 1 Asian Paradise Flycatcher, 2 Eastern Crowned Warblers, 1 Arctic Warbler, 1 female Yellow-rumped Flycatcher and 2 Asian Brown Flycatchers. - Dave Gandy.

Migrants at Lumphini Park on the afternoon of 23rd included 1 Brown Shrike, 1 juvenile Tiger Shrike, 1 Grey-backed Shrike, 1 Black Kite and 3 Asian Brown Flycatchers. -Stijn De Win/Birding2Asia.

A new nesting location for Grass Owl was discovered at Yonok Wetlands, Chiang saen on the 21st September. Also seen were 2 Blue-breasted Quail, 12 Oriental Honey Buzzards moving south and 20 Richard's Pipits heading south. On the 19th a few Jerdon's Bushchat were seen. - Mick Davies & Dowroong Danlamajak.

22/09/08 : Purple-backed Starlings were still present at the Forestry Department on Pahonyothin Road, Bangkok on the 22nd along with a female Yellow-rumped Flycatcher. - Peter Ericsson.

Also on the 22nd was a Brown-chested Jungle-Flycatcher at Suan Rot Fai along with 7 Yellow-rumped Flycatchers. On 21st a Ruddy Kingfisher was at the same location and on the 19th a Tiger Shrike was the highlight there. - Dave Gandy.

A nesting colony of 60-70 House Sparrows was observed at Rong Kluea market, Aranyaprathet on the 20th September. - Nick Upton.

An Eastern Crowned Warbler was seen in mangroves at Chulachomklao fort, Samut Prakarn on 19th September. - Nick Upton.

18/09/08 : 80+ Purple-backed Starlings were present on 16th & 17th September at the Forestry Department on Pahonyothin Road, Bangkok. - Peter Ericsson.

2 Mangrove Whistlers and 1 male Yellow-rumped Flycatcher were seen at Samut Sakorn Mangrove Research Station on 15th September. - Nick Upton.

1 Little Stint and 3 Asian Dowitchers were found at Khok Kham on the 4th September. - Stijn De Win/Birding2Asia & Dave Gandy.

A Little Bronze Cuckoo and 2 Spotted Wood Owls were seen in the grounds of the Maritime Hotel, Krabi on 29th August. 1 Female Christmas Island Frigatebird was positively identified amongst other Frigatebirds near Ko Phi Phi. - Attila Simay.

04/09/08 : On the morning of the 4th September 2 Yellow-rumped Flycatchers, 1 Brown Shrike and 2 Arctic Warblers were found in Suan Rot Fai. - Dave Gandy.
